Make plans to attend Tea and Tour at the American
Orchid Society Botanical Garden in Delray. This is the first of LEAH's
exciting trio of events titled, "LEAH... Morning, Noon & Night."
Two more events will take place on separate days completing the series.

July 31, 2008: "In Praise of Humanity", an exhibit of the art of Edna Hibel at the Schmidt Gallery on the Boca Raton campus of FAU. Most of the art
was available for sale with a percentage of the proceeds donated to LEAH to support the Center for Holocaust and Human Rights Education at FAU.
- Saturday, February 2, 2008:The North Palm Beach Chapter's annual Dinner Dance honoring tolerance educators took place at Ballen Isles Country Club.
- Wednesday, January 30,
2008: An evening with S. Hanala Stadner, author, was held by NEXT GENERATIONS. Hanala shared her life as a
child of Holocaust survivors. The event was at the Amarnick-Goldstein Concert Hall, Lynn University
- Sunday, January 27, 2008: LEAH's 2008
Bridge Builder gala was held at the elegant Boca Raton Resort and Club.
The event had an international theme reflecting the impact of LEAH's
mission, and honoring Yvonne S. Boice as its 2008 Bridge Builder of the Year
for her global efforts to promote diversity.
- Monday, December 10, 2007: Held at Benvenuto in Boynton Beach, LEAH's Holiday
Happening was elegant and enjoyable afternoon. The
festivities included a luncheon, fashion show antique appraisals, and boutique
shopping.
- Sunday, October 28, 2007: LEAH's annual Opening
Meeting. The focus was a Spotlight on International Genocide with three fantastic
speakers and a special international guest. The unforgettable event took place at Boca Raton Community
Church.
- April 14, 2007: 3rd Annual Pillars of the Community
Reception - Woodfield Country Club
Honorees included: Roz Littman, Asa-Lena & Per-Olof Loof, Mercedes & Peter Mottek, and Joseph Pores
The event honored individuals who, through dedicated efforts and outstanding community work, help pave the way and inspire others towards a world with more understanding, kindness and appreciation of each other because of, not in spite of, our differences.

Internationally acclaimed film featuring the story of Britian Nicholas Winton who rescued 669 children from Nazi-occupied Czechoslovakia during World War II.

Fun-filled day with unique shopping boutiques, sumptuous luncheon, card games, and even something for non-card players. Early birds received special makeovers.
- November 8, 2006: Sister Rose's Passion: A Nun's Mission for Tolerance
- Boca Raton Country Club
Special program featuring the award winning and Oscar nominated film Sister Rose's Passion, the compelling story of Sister Rose Thering who confronted anti-Semitism in the Catholic Church and became an advocate for Holocaust and genocide education. Presentation by and discussion with guest speaker Reverend John Pawlikowski, Director of Catholic-Jewish Studies at the Catholic Theological Union.
Dessert reception to followed program.
