The North Palm Beach Chapter of LEAH (League for the
Educational Awareness of the Holocaust) is a multi-denominational group of
proactive volunteers whose purpose and missions are to (1) share with the public
the moral lessons of the Holocaust and other genocides and (2) to raise funds
for the important task of teaching the children and the young people in our
schools to accept and respect each other and to learn from the lessons of the
Holocaust the obligation and responsibility to combat intolerance and racial or
religious prejudice.
The Chapter was established by two Holocaust survivor families in 1999. It has
now about 300 members representing a number of communities in North Palm Beach
County including BallenIsles Country Club, Ibis Country Club, Frenchman's Creek
Country Club, Jupiter, North Palm Beach and West Palm Beach.
